Child-Inn II

Child-Inn II is the boys' home of I-India and supported by Childs Rights. It's located in Jaipur, Rajasthan (North of India). Jaipur has 2,5 million inhabitants, amogst which there are 200,000 homeless kids.

The house was opened by I-India in January 2006 and was initially sponsored by an American couple, Mr. y Mrs. Shaun Church.
Their initial plan for sponsoring the house was 1 year long, but luckily their nice support started in January 2006 and finished in March 2009.

In March 2009 they moved to Africa to help children with aids so they couldn't continue running the Indian project Child-Inn 2.

Therefore, in order to avoid leaving the kids homeless again, we decided to take over the responsability of running the project.

Currently 21 boys live in this house, some of them are orphans, others have parents that fight for survival in the streets of Jaipur .

Before being welcomed at Child-Inn II, 90% of the boys used to live in the street – we also have some cases, like little Amit, 10 years old, who lived in a house with his parents, but they abused him so much that he decided to run away from. I-India found him alone begging in the street.

The kids are between 3 and 14 years old and all of them, unless the smallest ones, attend happily to school.

The boys are looked after by the social worker Ramesh 24 hours/day. Her assistants are Veerendra, Bajan and Sushila.

The monthly cost of the project is 850 Euros. Until April 2010 Child-Inn II will be sponsored by the international organism Smiling-children.

Afterwards we really need help to keep the project going, we trust in the universe to provide us with some help for such an important mission.

If you wish to find out how to help us with the project, please visit the section “HELP US”. Thank you!
